Watson Group
Founded by David Watson in May 2021, The Watson Group began as a specialized firm in the Health, Life, and Medicare space with just three sales associates. Rooted in Louisville, KY, and built on David’s decades of entrepreneurial experience, the Watson Group is a family-owned business dedicated to its mission: "Connecting People. Securing Futures."
Over the years, The Watson Group has expanded significantly, acquiring multiple established firms and broadening its services. In 2022, the company became a full-service brokerage after purchasing two P&C agencies serving Kentucky and Indiana.
The momentum continued in 2023 with the acquisition of Administrative Information Management Inc. (AIM Inc.), a third-party administrative company with a strong regional presence. Later that year, Watson Group Consulting LLC was launched, focusing on reducing prescription costs for self-funded organizations—helping businesses across the U.S. save an average of $960 per employee per year.
In 2024, expansion reached Elizabethtown, KY, bringing employee benefits, home & auto and commercial insurance to the region.
Now heading into 2025 with fourteen trusted associates, The Watson Group continues to grow, providing individuals and businesses with tailored insurance solutions while staying true to its commitment to securing futures and building lasting relationships.
